A short story about me..

For years, my world was defined by precision and policy. Navigating the high-stakes world of insurance and claims taught me how to spot the details others miss—but eventually, I realized I’d rather capture the beauty in those details than just document the damage. I traded the Xactimate shortcuts for shutter speeds, swapped the corporate grind for my Nikon, and Shiltz Photography was born.

Living and working in Las Vegas, I’ve found my rhythm. Whether I’m chasing the perfect long exposure of a desert stream or setting up a Creative Kit session, my goal is always the same: to find the authentic story in every frame. I’m a specialist who knows exactly what I’m about—which means I’m your guy for a striking lifestyle portrait or a sharp real estate shoot, but you won't find me at the end of a wedding aisle (unless I’m there for the cake).

When I’m not behind the lens or managing my other ventures, you can usually find me at home with my biggest fans—my dogs, Bentley, Jasmine, Zuko and Ivee. They don’t care much about lighting ratios, but they’re a daily reminder that the best moments are the ones that feel real.
